  1. There are very pretty, but completely useless for nature. They do not offer the nectar and pollen that nature need, (the double flower so)
Anything that has been hybridized is man made!

  2. Last year we planted one bubblegum wave petunia in each of our large black pots and they turned into two pots of masses of flowers …they were beautiful and it was you that showed them on your channel ….thank you for sharing all your knowledge …..

  3. Love all the info/ideas!! Had to keep stopping your video to type in notes -made a "document page" so I know what to look for next year. Working on expanding my butterfly/hummingbird garden so this was great! And love that they are all bloomers thru frost!! Thank you very much!!

  4. Don't be too quick to give up on your Thunbergia. I've had one vine going for three or four years in a heated greenhouse. I even lost power one night and the root mass was ok…tough little plants.

  5. This video changed my world! I didn't realize I could order plants! I live in South Florida zone 10, and the garden cantors carry they same typical types of plants with very little variety and only focused on what looks "tropical". All the plants you mentioned I can grow in my zone, and break out of the same plants! Thank you so much! ~Stephanie

  6. Not really related to this video but I have a question that I would love your advice on! I have a lot of indoor plants, and my cats really love to mess with them. How do you keep your cat out of your indoor plants?! ?❤️?

  7. Hi Laura
thank you so much for giving us a list of some of these most Beautiful annual flowers I’m going to go to my nursery and ask if they will have those. Now I know that they are more expensive so I’m going to ask Home Depot if they carry this brands as well, thank you again and can’t wait to hear when the baby comes….thank you so much for sharing that information with us I feel like I’m walking right along with you and I can’t wait till you post another video….your channel is one channel that I could watch over and over and over I truly love gardening and I really am grateful for all that you share with us. ? ❤️

  8. Lovely new varieties, but my experience with Proven Winners has not been good. I'm an experienced gardener and it's been very disappointing. Plants arrive either water logged, already rotting from too much water (or something else) or bone dry and almost dead, to only end up that way soon after. Last year I decided to try one last time and I ordered a combination that Laura showed in a video, only to have a very different experience from the one she had. The plants were so sad and bone dry upon arrival, died shortly thereafter. It's clear that plants sent to Laura meet a very different standard and that's disappointing, as I would expect the same quality we see in her videos. That simply isn't the case. It isn't easy to avoid their plants in the nurseries, but I try to now, after 5-6 bad experiences with ordering online. When you call customer service, the people are very sweet, but not especially knowledgeable. I'm happy for Laura that she has the experience she does, just wish it was the case for others of us.

  9. Enjoyed the introduction. If you do this again, maybe for perennials and shrubs, would you please add info about deer resistance? I have a terrible problem with deer, they even ate the buds and blooms off the new Proven Winners camellias I planted a couple of weeks ago. 🙁

  10. I would love to see you talk and show us your favorite flower to cut and bring inside the house ? I always have a hard should I cut or look at them outside. Look forward to your response. Deb

  11. Does anyone know of a good garden center in Brooklyn or Manhattan that would have a verity of these sorts of flower/plants? Aside from Lowe’s or HD. Also aside from those plant boutiques and farmers markets? I’m looking for a real garden center like Laura’s parents garden center where people are knowledgeable about the plants.
