Im in Tustin CA… Ive been trying to grow broccoli since Oct and something keeps taking the leaves so its just all stunt growth. They are right next to my kale bush and its also been severely attacked.

Just up the coast in Santa Barbara county, we are getting hit hard by large field mice. Damage looks exactly the same. We threw up a trail camera in the garden to see who was coming in at night.

I'm curious about your guava trees. I also grow guavas (Tai-Guo, a guava originating from Taiwan), but their harvesting season is usually late summer to early fall. So, by September, all the fruits have been picked and they don't bud again until late February/Early March (Though, these last few years they have been budding very early, about late January/Early February). When is the harvesting duration for the guavas you have? Were you able to pick past September and all the way into December/January?
