I started a container garden in February. We live in Garland. Not too sure how it'll stand up by the time summer gets here but figure the first go around is a learning year.
I live in the north where the snow is just melting ? but I noticed that a mole has tunnels all over my garden. He wasn't there the past two years. I have free ranging chickens and grandkids so I can't use any type of poison. Any suggestions? I'm thinking I may have to switch to raised beds with hardware cloth underneath?
That shredder is a good idea but I don't have 129.00 bucks so I just use my mulching mower. I just subbed I live in Denton so its nice to get some ideas from someone close.
Black cow is excellent for all types of veggies! I think you will have a plentiful crops this year. Rent a small tiller/cultivator from Home Depot to get aerated soil both bottom soil mixed with the amended soil! You'll have a bountiful crop this year. Can't wait to see your spring crops..
