They do best when initially grown in shade.

That tree is a weed at this point. Plus you planted so many more trees that give back. Plus I bet more then anything you will recycle it back to your garden.

Looking forward to having lots of good tasting fruit! Can't wait for the Goji Berry pruning video. I just planted five Phoenix Tear 2 year old roots in December. Should have a nice goji crop and plenty of cuttings this year.
