Your lovely garden is snuggling under the covers while mine is growing rampant here in Tassie summer where I had a week of frost and 2 weeks of 30 deg C in the "spring" month of November! Only 1 month to go in your garden! I can hardly bear it! But of course you are going to make "A Year in Our Garden – the Sequel", aren't you?
I always keep watching your videos. It gives me so much peace in stress time! I hope you're having a beautiful weather, your animals are having fun, and you enjoying your peaceful field! Lots of regards.
Very nice of you to set out such a nice spread for the birds, laying out such a lovely large tablecloth was just icing on the cake frosting on the pumpkin.
Good morning from Ontario, you and that Scarecrow are truly Outstanding in Your Field. Sorry, couldn’t resist! Another gentle reminder that if we treat things right, good stuff happens. It’s been a while since I ate fresh broad beans, mm, yum! Thanks for the videos.
Yep, always something to do on the Homestead, its AWESOME ya all grow your own oats, and while ya left the heads of sunflowers with seeds still in them for the birds, seems like the birds also LOVE their oats! Such a beautiful and thriving garden ya all have, thanks for sharing my dear buddies! 🙂
The rhubarb doesn't need manure to be well rotted. Here our chicken coop gets scraped out onto it twice a year. But it will take fresh pig manure easily too. We never mulch ours, and we get a week or more of -40 most years.
Her voice is so amazing. It's like she's a PBS narrator
Nicely done
your narration is as beautiful as your farm

the bird netting would be more effective raised off the ground. only needs to be 2" up. Tent-like would be easiest.

One for the mouse, one for the crow, one to rot, one to grow! Worked for our ancestors when there were many more birds. Good luck!
