i get the same problem with my calathea plant, the leaves just turned dry and crispy apparently they do not like to be fertilized often and they do not like hard water as well, so now I am collecting rainwater for them.
Hey girl, I have 3 monsteras that are taking over my house! They grew out, not up, and literally each one is like a 6 foot round circle. I tried to stake it up, However I feel once it's big, it may be to late. It just wouldn't work. Already to big and to set in its ways. Let me know if you have any luck on that please lol
My calathea did the same exact thing! It is the only plant that can survive in my daughters room and it’s in bright indirect light. I actually mentioned it as one of my favorites of 2017 plants 🙂 because it’s got tubers it’ll keep potting them out the way oxalis do ???
Those are awesome goals! I must join in this endeavor of yours and find a way to stop killing my cacti and succulents! I don't even water them that much and yet I continue to lose them! Like you, I also need to figure out the light situation in my room! Good luck to you and all of us indoor gardeners! 🙂
I'm thinking about making some of my own pots! Ceramics is a lot of fun, but can be a rather expensive hobby! You usually have to pay a monthly fee to use a ceramics studio and/or take a class. Good luck with your plant goals. 🙂
Omg YEEEESSSS!! Those are such good goals. I'd love to accomplish some of those goals with you like if you do do those creative things you should make videos about them so we can try it along with you!
Calathea's are so hard to take care of! They don't like bright light, so a shadowy spot should be good for them. And i spray mine everyday. I hope it recovers 'cause they're such beautiful plants!
Neglect is your friend in the winter when it comes to house plants and succulents during the winter dearie ❤️ you're doing great and I don't think you give yourself enough credit with as many babies that you have. Make a list and try to do 5 things on your list each week

Go for it! Good luck!

Great encouraging video. I just subscribed.
I had a huge love for plants in the 70's, then life became too busy. I plan to enjoy the hobby again
LOVE IT! XOXO GOOD LUCK!

Write your goals like a checklist and reward yourself with the purchase of a great new plant as a reward when your list is completed.
good luck with all the plant bbs in the rest of the year! This reminds me i need to repot my avacado…
